The Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America is honored to have Warren and Diane Chaiken as our 2012 Got Guts Gala Chairpersons. We are enormously grateful to be working with such a dynamic and passionate couple.
When Warren was 14 years he was diagnosed with Ulcerates Colitis, which ultimately resulted in surgery in 1999. Since then, Warren has remained asymptomatic of the disease but that experience has focused him on dedicating his efforts in finding a cure for the disease.
Almo’s third-generation leader in a family-owned business, Warren directs the efforts of all five of Almo’s business divisions, which include Consumer Electronics & Appliances, Luxury Appliances, eCommerce & Premium Incentives, Wire & Cable and Professional A/V. Warren joined his father, Chairman & CEO Gene Chaiken in 1995 and was appointed into his current role as President & COO in 2004, continuing the multi-generational succession of the business.
Warren received an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College. Prior to Almo, he held positions on Wall Street with firms Kidder Peabody and Paine Webber.
Warren and Diane reside in Montgomery County and are the proud parents of two sons, Ben and Josh.
The Philadelphia / Delaware Valley Chapter could not have better friends in our quest to find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Thank you, Warren and Diane.
